EA Sports Active – The Virtual Gym
Because of the mass appeal it has, there is no doubt that EA Sports Active will be a huge hit. Whether you enjoy sports, you like doing cardio, strength training is your thing, or you want to focus on flexibility, there are exercises for you included in this exciting game. After all, this is what has made these types of games so popular. No matter whether you are a kid or a bit older, you can still play this since there are no restrictions on age for the game.
This movement has gone in a totally different direction than other gaming consoles out there. Some of the others encourage you sitting down for hours with snacks and drinks and playing the day away. With the Wii, and EA Sports Active, you will be on your feet and working off those calories. If you are not in the greatest shape, you can definitely get back in shape. With the first workout you’ll be burning calories and you’ll be sweating hard when you are done.
All the different exercises that can be used is why this game has been such a bit hit. In real life workouts, often you begin getting tired with the workout over time. Sure, when you saw the machine on the infomercial that you watched, it may have looked wonderful. You were going to use it all the time and get in shape. Soon you were trying to find any way you could to avoid actually having to use it. This may be true for that gym membership that you purchase when you decided to get in shape. When you use EA Sports Active you won’t get bored.
If you get tired of one exercise, there are many others to pick from. If you feel like doing a round on the speed bag, you can. If you feel like practicing your jump serve in volleyball, you can do that as well. If you feel like going for a jog on the track, you can start immediately. If sports aren’t your thing, you can stick to the strength training aspect of the game. Pick an exercise from a group of exercises such as upper or lower body.
Another wonderful thing about EA Sports Active is the customizeable aspect of it. You can come up with a completely unique workout by choosing 9 different exercises to do. Every day, you turn on the game and it remembers what you’ve done including how many calories you’ve burned.
You are also able to do individual exercises if you want to. It is the 30 day workout that is programmed in that happens to be one the main benefits of this game. You can choose a workout that is difficult, easy, or medium, and then use it for 30 days.
If you want to maintain health or get in shape, EA Sports Active is a great game. You will get variety, which is one thing that you often can’t find in a real workout. Everyone can use it and it is a great fitness tool.
